He was expelled from many schools for asking lots of different questions. So he had only three months of formal schooling. But his mother knew that her son had a sheer talent and she started teaching him at home. At the age of 12 he started business of selling vegetables and newspaper. Soon he started earning good income and he established a laboratory in his home’s basement. In the day time he used to do his business and in the nights he used to be busy in his laboratory. From that laboratory he changed the whole world. I think, he was one of the most influential figure of the millennium. He was called “Thomas Alva Edison”.

The Great Thomas Alva Edison tested over 3000 filaments before he came up with his particular version of a Practical Light Bulb. As shocking as it may seem, it was not his greatest invention. The miracle of the millennium was the act of providing light and power to the masses. The first to envision, design and construct a successful model for achieving this extremely challenging goal was Thomas Alva Edison. His other famous inventions were: Vote Recorder, Automatic Telegraph, Electric Pen, Phonograph, Dynamo, Electric Motor etc. Because of these wonderful inventions he became one of the world’s richest person at that time.
